Mariah Grey
Software Engineer
Before getting into the tech space in 2017, Mariah taught pre-kindergarten for six years. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their three adorable children. “I love the rain and everyone else just has to deal with it, even if they don't.” She is passionate about reusable, easy-to-read code. I'm always interested in learning about why we do things. Or if there is something we can do better. In her spare time, you can find her baking or reading with a cup of coffee in her hand. Her go-to recipe is an unstoppable tray of chocolate chip cookies.

Projects you loved most in 2023
Mariah has been working with Memento all year, which she described immediately as a “joy” to work with. “Consistently, their team is phenomenal,” she said. “They're software-focused so, in turn, they're easy to work with. Over the last year, we released an epic that focused on reactions, which was a great piece to add to their product. But it was really enjoyable to work on. It was something new. It wasn't something that we had been focused on for a while and so it leveled them up and I think it leveled us up, too.”

Your Personal peak/high of the year
Managing work-life balance. “Having three kids, and a spouse. And doing everything. My extended family is here, too. Managing all of that is an accomplishment.”

Favorite work-from-home perk or accessory:
“The balance of work-life flexibility is great, but the accessory is the external monitor which has been very helpful.”
